To enhance our successful Facility Team in AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, we are looking for a passionate CLEANROOM FACILITY ENGINEER Job Responsibility Cleanroom Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain cleanroom furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they meet cleanliness and operational standards. Procurement and Inventory Management: Coordinate the procurement, replacement, and inventory management of cleanroom items such as furniture, cleaners, and supplies. Cleaning and Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure the cleanroom environment remains compliant with cleanliness standards. Facilities Collaboration: Collaborate with the Facilities team to address HVAC and infrastructure issues affecting the cleanroom environment, ensuring optimal conditions. Team Leadership: Train and oversee a team of technicians or custodial staff responsible for cleanroom maintenance tasks. Supply Management: Maintain inventory levels of cleanroom-related supplies and ensure timely replenishment to avoid disruptions. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and cleanroom procedures to prevent contamination and maintain a sterile environment. Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or furniture issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of cleanroom maintenance activities and report any deviations or concerns to management. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies relevant to cleanroom engineering to improve processes and efficiency. Your Profile Type and length of experience required for the position: Cleanroom Engineering Experience: Candidates should have prior experience in cleanroom engineering, maintenance, or a related field. This experience should include working with cleanroom protocols and standards. Facilities Maintenance: Experience in facilities or maintenance roles is valuable, especially if it involves cleanroom environments or similar controlled environments. Leadership Experience: For candidates applying for a senior or supervisory role, leadership or management experience is essential, as they will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians. Length of Experience: Entry-Level: Entry-level Cleanroom Engineers may have 1-3 years of relevant experience, which can include internships or junior positions in cleanroom maintenance or facilities. Mid-Level: Mid-level candidates should typically have 3-5 years of experience in cleanroom engineering or a related field, with a proven record of accomplishment of effectively maintaining cleanroom environments.
