Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clerk of Work (COW) specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to join our team. As a COW, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of M&E projects by overseeing construction activities, monitoring progress, and upholding quality standards and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise M&E construction projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Conduct regular inspections to assess work quality, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address technical issues, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective actions. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Prepare detailed reports documenting construction progress, deviations from plans, and any issues encountered. Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor used on-site. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination efforts. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established timelines.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
