Job Description

Job Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the immediate superior to plan, supervising, monitoring, and controlling daily construction work at the project site. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure proper material control, storage, quality assurance, and full machine utilization. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure the contractor uses the latest approved drawings, and comply with samples, method statement, and quality standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure the contractors provide all the necessary supporting documents upon testing and commissioning. \xe2\x80\xa2 To check and ensure that the quality of all building materials used in the project is from the acceptable range of products. \xe2\x80\xa2 To check and ensure the quality/workmanship for all construction works if various sub-trades are within the acceptable tolerance. \xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out necessary testing on all construction works/materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in monitoring the construction works in order to ensure timely completion. \xe2\x80\xa2 To check and ensure that the operation of safety and cleanliness of the construction sites are well organized in an orderly manner at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 To check and record all variation orders (VO) to the original scope of works within the provision of the original contract. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in organizing the authorities\xe2\x80\x99 final inspection, testing, and commissioning during work at the project site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to detect defective work as soon as possible, point out the defects in construction, locate the cause, and suggest a remedy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in any ad-hoc duty when required. Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 At least a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5 years of working experience in project management & coordination for high-rise serviced apartments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Required skills: MS project & AutoCAD would be advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with building contractual terms and laws & regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able & willing to work night shift & weekends due to the project nature of requirement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good interpersonal communication & analytical skill with people at all levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to allocate at the construction site.
