Position Summary



As part of our growth, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to serve as the primary liaison between clients and our design team. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating project requirements, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, a background in interior design, quantity surveying, or project administration, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities



Function as a key liaison between clients, prospects, and internal teams ensuring timely, professional, and effective communication throughout the project cycle. Assist in gathering client requirements, project briefs, and feedback for the design team. Assist in managing Client Service Reviews, due diligence, client RFPs, RFIs, and SLAs. Assist in the development and coordination of compelling tender submissions, proposal decks, and presentation material while collaborating closely with design, costing, and delivery teams. Help facilitate internal and external meetings, preparing materials and follow-ups. Communicate project progress, updates, and outcomes effectively to clients and internal stakeholders. Track project milestones and timelines to ensure deliverables are met according to schedule. Prepare progress reports, proposals, and documentation for clients. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and communications. Address and resolve client inquiries or issues promptly and professionally. Support business development by nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying repeat business opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs) in all client interactions. Monitor service quality and adherence to client commitments, taking corrective actions when necessary. Contribute to the creation of marketing content, case studies, and communication materials that strengthen the company's brand positioning. Participate in industry networking events, client presentations, and industry gatherings to build visibility and confidence in client-facing environments. Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure client expectations align with project outcomes. Assist in handover procedures and after-sales support post-project completion. Stay informed about market trends, workplace design developments, and client needs to proactively bring insights back to the team.

Academic Requirements



Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Marketing, Quantity Surveying or related field.

Skills & Experience



At least 2-3 years of experience in client servicing or project coordination (preferably in interior design, construction, or creative industries). Experience in handling commercial or retail interior projects. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design presentations is a plus.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
