Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and other developers to gather and analyze project requirements, with a particular emphasis on security considerations.
• Design, develop, and deploy serverless cloud applications on AWS using services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others as required, while implementing robust security measures.
• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code in languages such as Node.js, Python, or TypeScript, adhering to secure coding practices and industry standards.
• Implement serverless architecture patterns and practices that prioritize security, including secure authentication, authorization, and communication between components.
• Ensure the secure management and protection of sensitive data stored in AWS database and storage services such as DynamoDB, S3, and RDS.
• Conduct security reviews and vulnerability assessments of serverless applications to identify and address potential security risks and threats.
• Monitor and analyze serverless applications for security incidents, implementing appropriate logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into the overall infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring secure deployment and configuration of serverless applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in AWS serverless computing and cloud application security.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from reputable education institution with minimum CGPA 3.0 or second class upper.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying secure serverless cloud applications using AWS services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices, secure API design, and secure communication protocols.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
