About the Role

We are seeking a motivated

Cloud & Application Support Engineer

with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for cloud and application support. You will be the first line of response for incidents, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first line of support for incidents, providing basic troubleshooting and escalating to senior engineers or vendors when required. Perform routine tasks such as system health checks, backups, patching, and updates. Monitor application and cloud systems for performance, availability, and security alerts. Support deployment and configuration of applications and cloud infrastructure. Assist in testing and validating backup and disaster recovery procedures. Identify opportunities for automation (scripts, monitoring, cost optimization). Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps clearly and accurately.
Requirements

1-2 years of experience in cloud/application support, IT infrastructure, or a related field. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with monitoring tools, backup solutions, and patch management. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team. Willingness to learn and grow in cloud technologies.
Nice-to-Have (Optional)

Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to ITIL or incident management processes.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
