JOB DESCRIPTION: At BIIT, our Cloud Consultants are responsible for the development and delivery of robust, high-performance infrastructure hosting and Computing solutions that are repeatable, scalable, agile, and cost effective. We are looking for Consultants to be at the core of positioning and delivering transformations and migrations of legacy systems into next-generation cloud-native application. Candidates who appreciate the relevance of remaining agnostic in a world of adaptive change, constant acceleration, and continuous improvement, should apply for this position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify business requirements and corresponding cloud based solutions to match cloud ecosystem components across a variety of vendors that align with business objectives and meet technical design requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess the full technology stack of services required including network, compute, storage, management and automation. Compare and contrast alternatives across both technical and business parameters which support the define cost and service requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design cloud based application hosting and data services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay educated on new and emerging market offerings that may be of interest to our clients. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical architecture design, evaluation, and investigation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in MicroServices, DevOps and CI/CD \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated professional experience in some or all of the following: o Server Operating Systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.). o Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.). o Cloud Computing and Storage (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud) PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: \xe2\x80\xa2 AWS, Azure, Alibaba or GCP certification \xe2\x80\xa2 Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Database) analysis, design, build, and migration \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with cloud security. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with private and public cloud architectures, and migration considerations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience architecting with OS (Windows, LINUX, UNIX, VMware, Hyper-V, XenServer) \xe2\x80\xa2 Hands-on experience with Unix / Linux shell scription PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree on a computing related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in managing projects and resources \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical/Team Leadership Experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills (both written and oral). \xe2\x80\xa2 Attention to Detail and strong interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to be flexible in a problem solving environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and thought processes
