What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

As the Cloud Platform Specialist (Amazon Web Services) you\xe2\x80\x99ll be primarily responsible for delivering post-sales activity for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will be involved in consulting, designing, developing, and providing engagements relating to the AWS platform and associated services (Be they IaaS, PaaS, or other).

Some of your day-to-day duties will include delivering technical solutions for clients utilizing the AWS platform, managing operational AWS environments, and providing technical solutions with a focus on automation whilst ensuring strong relationships with our clients.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring

This is an excellent role for a people person who is passionate about new technologies and producing excellent solutions for our client\'s needs. You\xe2\x80\x99ll already have 10 years of IT experience and will be able to talk to us about how you\xe2\x80\x99ve grown and kept up to date with the latest and greatest over that time. You will have knowledge of enterprise data centre technologies and automation technologies. Ideally, you will have technical leadership experience or qualities to really shine in this role.

We are keen to hear about your proven technical track record in the delivery of complex hybrid cloud and or public cloud delivery. Your relationship-building and communication skills will be a strength. You will be a passion that is unsurpassed for automation, coding, and scripting experience with strong DevOps experience.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include delivering technical solutions for clients utilizing the AWS platform, managing operational AWS environments, and providing technical solutions with a focus on Automation whilst ensuring strong relationships with our clients.

Requirements

You will have experience with the following toolsets and methodologies;

• AWS Certification \xe2\x80\x93 associate level (min.)
• Kubernetes and Containers Orchestration
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
• Infrastructure as a code experience preferred Terraform
• Node.js (server-less and functions)
• Scripting and Coding experience (e.g. Python, Shell, JS)
• CI/CD tools (e.g. GIT, Jenkins, Selenium, Artifactory)
• VMware and RedHat automation
• Configuration Management Tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Hybrid cloud experience (preferred but not essential)
• Network troubleshooting
