Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Support L2 Engineer to join our team. As an L2 Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers using Azure cloud-based services and solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of Azure services for our customers. Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve technical incidents reported by customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex issues related to Azure services, infrastructure, and connectivity. Collaborate with L1 support engineers and other cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Monitor the performance, availability, and capacity of Azure services and infrastructure, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems. Develop and maintain monitoring tools, dashboards, and processes to ensure the health and reliability of Azure services. Automate repetitive tasks and develop scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents. Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and best practices. Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to provide feedback and insights for improving the reliability and performance of Azure services. Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates on incident status, resolution progress, and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimally 2-3 years\' experience in a similar field is preferred. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and security. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Azure infrastructure, connectivity, and service availability. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, or similar tools. Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages for automation and infrastructure management. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPN. Knowledge of security principles and best practices for Azure, including identity and access management, network security groups, and Azure Active Directory. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to customers and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks based on business impact. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineers is a plus.
