Cloud Platform Engineer working with Azure and Infrastructure as Code

We're working in an international agile setup, building strong cloud platforms for our IT solutions, supporting developers in deploying, and taking an active part in the digital transformation. You will build a deep, expert-level understanding of our systems by being immediately immersed in meaningful, hands-on projects.

Welcome to the Engineering & Construction Solution Train

You'll be part of the Cloud Platform team within the Platform_ART, part of the EC_Solution Train. You will be working alongside engaged and supportive colleagues to develop, operate, and cloud services. These services play a critical role in optimizing data transformation, automation, and infrastructure management across engineering teams. Operating in a global Agile organization, you'll collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, security architects, and integration teams to enhance cloud-native adoption and improve operational excellence across ARTs. While we offer flexibility, we value on-site collaboration to foster strong teamwork and alignment across engineering and IT stakeholders.

You'll play an important role in:

driving performance, deployment, and cost optimization architectural best practices with Infrastructure Architects. enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, enabling self-service provisioning, automation, and improved operational efficiency. ddefining and building out robust cloud observability, automation, and governance setting up networking, storage, and compute resources working closely with the Cloud Platform IPL to ensure the cloud infrastructure setup follows best practices, security compliance, and governance guidelines managing cloud security, including IAM, encryption, and Microsoft Entra ID, in collaboration with the Security Architect is a plus.

To succeed in the role, you:

have strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security. are proficient in Azure services, Terraform, and CloudFormation; AWS experience is an added value. bring practical experience with GitHub, Cloud Infra, SSM, Terraform, or similar automation/configuration tools. Interest in building out architecture for GenAI understands and can apply IT architecture principles and cloud strategy. communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
