About the Role



We are seeking a

Cloud Resiliency Architect

to help enterprises strengthen the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their

Microsoft Azure

cloud environments.
You will engage directly with customers to assess current architectures, evaluate disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) strategies, and enhance

Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs)

to ensure end-to-end operational resiliency.

This position is ideal for candidates passionate about cloud infrastructure reliability, continuity planning, and helping organizations recover swiftly from disruptions.

Key Responsibilities



Assess the resiliency posture of customer environments--technically and operationally. Evaluate and enhance

Disaster Recovery (DR)

,

Business Continuity (BC)

, and

Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs)

. Perform deep-dive analysis on Azure infrastructure, workloads, failover readiness, and monitoring configurations. Identify single points of failure, recovery gaps, and operational vulnerabilities. Recommend improvements aligned with

Azure Well-Architected Framework

,

SRE principles

, and

ITIL best practices

. Collaborate with stakeholders to align

RTO/RPO

targets, incident workflows, and escalation procedures. Produce clear, customer-facing technical documentation and maturity assessment reports.

Required Qualifications



5+ years

of hands-on experience in Azure cloud architecture, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) design. In-depth knowledge of

Azure infrastructure

,

Availability Zones

,

backup/recovery

, and

monitoring solutions

. Strong grasp of

cloud-native resiliency patterns

and

site reliability engineering (SRE)

methods. Proven track record designing or evaluating

MIRPs

and coordinating incident response. Experience in

business continuity planning

,

operational resilience

, and

process maturity assessment

. Excellent

communication, consulting, and documentation

skills for both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Skills



Experience leading enterprise-wide

BC/DR testing

or

resiliency programs

. Familiarity with compliance standards such as

ISO 22301

,

NIST SP 800-34

, or

SOC 2 Type II

. Experience supporting

regulated industries

(finance, healthcare, government). Hands-on knowledge of

Azure BCDR tools

- Azure Site Recovery, Backup Vaults, Azure Automation, Service Health Alerts. Exposure to

chaos engineering

,

resilience testing

, or

runbook automation

(e.g., Sentinel, ServiceNow). Working knowledge of

hybrid or multi-cloud

environments and related continuity implications. Understanding of

DevOps pipeline integration

for resiliency validation.
