The role sits on the Asia Area Procurement leadership team and will lead country procurement management for Malaysia & Philippines. They will ensure strong and collaborative relationships are built and maintained with the Country President and CCFO as well as relevant Business stakeholders. The role will ensure accurate coordination between the Procurement teams supporting the region: Category Management, GPS, TGPS to optimise support to the Business in the market and will work to define and deliver on region priorities and local Projects leveraging the Asia Pacific opportunities.
Role accountabilities & responsibilities
Accountable for developing a corporate procurement and material management process for the procurement of indirect goods and services.
Embed perfection in category management across the category including sourcing, cost management, contract management, supplier collaboration & innovation, supplier relationship and development management, and commodity price risk management (CPRM).
Deliver the annual financial and non-financial targets for the portfolio in the markets.
Accountable for security of supply and brand protection and risk and governance within their portfolio.
Own the full results of all the portfolio contract negotiations, achieving the given KPIs, quality and TCO targets, and proactively identify opportunities, add value and improve the TCO.
Ensure that the underpinning process improvement and procurement activities deliver the expected business value in accordance with the strategic plans.
Develop and execute a procurement portfolio strategy; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals
Lead governance within the portfolio ensuring commercial decisions are aligned with the overall business strategy and up/downstream partners.
Instil the highest standards of compliance and ethics consistently across AZ.
Essential Requirements
You should have minimum 10 years of relevant strategic procurement experience in category management and procurement processes
You have Degree or equivalent professional qualification
You have business partnering skill with proven track records of establishing relationship and influencing senior business stakeholders for decision making
Significant cross-industry and cross-category experience
Proven record to lead change in a sophisticated environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English
