Job Description

Objective:

Coordinated and scheduled all work done by CMM machines and resolved CMM programs online and offline. Coordinated data files with Engineering and developed CMM programming and reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

1. To ensure the department's procedure needed for the QMS implemented and maintained & 5S activity in the department's.
2. Ensure there is quality testing all the time; carry out inspections so as to meet the standard set by the organization.
3. Main Responsibilities: 1st piece, in-process and final inspection utilizing various types of inspection gages, plate layout, and CMM.
4. Focus on corrective actions in order to make sure that products meet required specifications.
5. Initiate CMM training for workers concerning safety programs to protect employees against work hazards.
6. Work with the Quality Control Supervisor regarding specific information relating to customer product information and production.
7. Engage the internal audits in a professional manner.
8. Ensure measuring equipment are functioning properly and maintain the tidiness after used.
9. Approve the first article finished products for onward shipment to the customer.
10. Work with the management and production to ensure that only quality products are produced.
11. Remove bad products that are discovered during the production process.
12. Monitor every stage of production to avoid product defects.
13. Record inspection results as required.
14. Prepare documentation related.
15. Do and prepare CMM program using PCDMIS software.
16. Full knowledge in GDnT and GRnR
14. And any other job as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in precision manufacturing, quality inspection, or CMM programming environment.

Experience in operating and programming CMM machines (preferably using PC-DMIS software).

2. Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and Gage R&R studies.

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models.

Hands-on experience with various measuring tools and equipment (e.g., micrometer, height gauge, caliper, surface plate layout).

Ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot CMM programs both online and offline.

Familiar with quality control procedures, QMS (ISO 9001), and 5S principles.

3. Soft Skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication skills (verbal and written) for reporting and coordination with engineering and production teams.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment to product quality.

4. Other Requirements

Willing to work in a manufacturing / precision engineering environment.

Able to perform internal audits and prepare related documentation when required.

Knowledge in safety procedures and willingness to conduct or attend safety trainings.

Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
