Program, set-up and operate a wide variety of inspection and test equipment including CMM with PC-DMIS software, optical comparator and computer assisted precision measurement instruments Conducting validation activities, as required Requires advance mechanical aptitude including ability to read and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and assembly notes Perform calibrations and measurements traceable to the International System of Units (SI) using appropriate reference standards Conduct Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility studies, capability studies, and correlation studies Maintain accurate records and report results, including nonconformances, per procedures Determines and may develop measurement methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, models, and diagrams Performs detailed first article inspections of prototype and production parts Assist Engineers, Technicians and Customers with qualification and validation of new or revised parts or tooling Develop and maintain computerized databases of metrology information Any other related tasks that may be assigned by superior as deemed appropriate.

Job Requirement

Minimum Diploma in mechanical engineering or any related filed. Minimum 2 - 3 years working exprience in manufacturing industry or any related filed. Freash graduate is encourge to apply for this position Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) , understand drawing callouts,symbology and application Ability to use basic measurement equipment- calipers, micrometers, height gage (CMM would be a Basic knowledge of reading engineering drawings Basic knowledge of 3D CAD modelling and GD&T would be an advantage. Good organization skills and ability to multitask and coordinate between multiple issue at any given time
