Job Description

Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce complex parts to exact specifications Create and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software. Operate multiple machines simultaneously, determine the need for, and make tool changes. Consistently achieve defined productivity levels on all products processed and to run product independently. Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances. Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres, calliper and ext. Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated and cooled. Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Must keep workstation and equipment clean & maintenance up to date. Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by immediate superior and above
Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field. All qualifications must comply with provincial human rights legislation. Qualifications include Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Basic hand tools and mechanical knowledge. Must have experience with tolerance. Must able to understand and properly use basic measurement equipment's. Must have strong attention to detail and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, such as GD&T.
