Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for
3-axis and 4-axis Milling / Lathe machines
.
Interpret
engineering drawings and technical specifications
to produce accurate parts.
Determine detailed manufacturing processes and collaborate with production and vendors on machining strategies.
Conduct simulations and optimize
tool paths
to achieve quality and cycle-time targets.
Support
first article runs (FA/IA)
and provide technical guidance to the production team.
Assist the sales team during the
RFQ stage
by estimating setup time, cycle time, and tooling costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues.
Ensure all programming releases achieve
?85% first-pass yield
.
Maintain safety, quality, stability, simplicity, and cost-efficiency in all programming activities.
Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
Minimum
SPM qualification
; Diploma or above preferred.
At least
3 years of experience
in CNC Milling or CNC Lathe within a precision engineering environment.
Proficient in
Mastercam, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360
programming software.
Strong understanding of
ISO 9001, GD&T, jigs & fixtures
, and surface treatment processes.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
