Our warehouse is stocked with pumps and spare parts, and also assembles pumps to match our customer specifications.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

5-Axis CNC Router Programmer cum Operator

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC routers to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming & Setup

Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Powermill, etc.). Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications to develop machining strategies. Set up tools, fixtures, and materials on the CNC router.

Operation

Operate 5-axis CNC routers to produce parts with high precision and surface finish. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed. Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, or machine operation. Report and document any equipment malfunctions or quality issues.

Quality & Safety

Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in operating and programming 5-axis CNC routers. Proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming. Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a machining environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with composite materials, foams. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices. Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Working Conditions:

Workshop environment with exposure to machinery noise and dust. May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
