Job Description

1. Program, set up, and operate Wirecut (WEDM)

machines to fabricate precision modules within

specified tolerances, ensuring timely completion

and adherence to quality standards.

2. Read and interpret engineering CAD drawings and

work orders.

3. Understand geometric tolerances and quality

spec requirement.

4. Able to Develop and execute machining program

using CAM system.

5. Select right cutting tools, fixtures, and Jigs based

on the specific machining requirements.

6. Identify and resolve any issues that arise during

the machining process, such as tool wear,

machine offset, or dimensional inaccuracies.

7. Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet

the specified dimensions and tolerances, often

using precision measuring tools like calipers,

micrometers, profile projector, inspection scope,

microscope, height/ thread/ pin gauges and

other various machining measuring

equipment's/tools.

8. Capable for machine settings and parameter

adjustment, optimize cutting parameters, and

implement strategies to improve production

efficiency and reduce waste.

9. Drive for continuous improvement in fabrication

process to produce parts with low defects and

high productivity.

10. Required to document production data, including

part measurements, machine settings, and any

issues encountered.

11. Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations and

guidelines, including PPE usage. Maintain

accurate setup documentation and logs.

Requirement

Education & Experience

1. Diploma in Machining / Production Technology/

Mechanical or equivalent

2. At least 8 years Wirecut experience. (fresh grade

can be considered).

3. Relevant experience will be an added advantage

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
