Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Collections Officer based in Kuching. The Collections Officer will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, interacting with customers to negotiate payment arrangements, and handling debt collection activities. Other tasks include analyzing accounts to identify overdue amounts, maintaining accurate records of all collection efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Some remote work is acceptable.
Qualifications

  • Debt Collection skills and experience in managing overdue accounts
  • Strong Analytical Skills to identify trends and problem areas in accounts
  • Customer Service and Communication skills for interacting effectively with customers
  • Basic Finance knowledge to understand account statuses and payment plans
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools is a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role or financial institution is an advantage
