Job Description

Examines an organization's revenue, operations, and overhead costs to suggest opportunities for improvements in the company's financial standing. The primary goal of a commercial analyst is to identify the organization's spending patterns, review commercial terms within commercial arrangements / contracts, identify irregularities, provide analysis, and recommend strategies to enhance the firm's profits. Support the Commercial Manager in conducting economic analysis / project evaluation as and when required.

Provide input in budgeting and forecasting for business planning. Analyses budget reports and suggests strategies for improving business performance. Perform strategic analysis and prepare financial models to support strategic planning activities. Work closely with the Commercial Manager in providing data-backed recommendations to the management to support effective decision-making. Coordinate with the finance team to streamline and channel efforts to improve the financial performance of the organization.

Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in any field. Have 5 to 7 years minimum in Oil and Gas related fields, with specific experience in Upstream Oil & Gas or PSC / RSC environment. Preference for personnel with international experience. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and investigative skills. Experience in operations of oil and gas facilities

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
