Job Description


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Pricing management & product portfolio

  • Involve in price setting process to identify the pricing objective & benchmark, analyze competitor pricing strategy and determine pricing methodology
  • Responsible to verify sales contracts and sales spend accrual & uphold the contract approval process
  • Develop Trade Spend guidance based on corporate framework
  • Assists in Brand strategy development, taking outside-in view (competitor- and other external developments) and translating the strategy into financials and financial KPI\'s
  • Lead product launch financial business case, following stage gate process
Forecasting & S&OP Process
  • Co-lead monthly S&OP financial review cycle, presenting projections and the corresponding Risk and Opportunities to Management team
  • Actively participate and support the financial aspects of S&OP process. Share voice and strengthen data driven decision making process
  • Conduct sales analysis and studies of market/ region/ channel dynamics on effectiveness of trade strategy
  • Produce robust forecast that achieve business objectives by contributing to monthly S&OP forecasting process with top-down targets allocation into different markets/ brands/channels within the organization accurately
  • Actively participate on translation of mandate, last estimates (LE), forecast data compilation and analysis by market/ channel/ region/ brand
  • Supports BA planning team in carrying out other analysis and task assigned from time to time
Performance Management & Reporting
  • Be a true Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing teams, providing accurate and timely financial analysis to equip the team with information required to make joint business decision
  • Understand the drivers of business performance, identifying trend, areas of opportunity or remedial action and influence the implementation of initiatives to drive profitability/return of investment
  • Own and manage database; includes provide valuable support to the commercial team, offering insight and value-added input on key financial topics and accurate analysis of budgets, forecast and actuals for the business planning
  • Providing commercially sound financial analysis for ad hoc projects, including cost effectiveness, commercial viability, operational capability while ensuring integrity of the business process is in compliance with accounting principles and local regulations
  • Prepare monthly management reports and drive Marketing P&L dialogue with Marketing leaders
Return on Investment
  • Build awareness within stakeholder on Return on Investment Metrics - to play a key role in challenging stakeholders in their investment strategy to ensure return per anticipation & portfolio objective is achieved
  • Ensure Advertisement and Promotion (A&P) spend control and challenges cross functional teams to increase effectiveness of A&P spend (e.g. media, medical marketing, digital etc)
  • Support post-launch evaluation of recently launched products/events, evaluating financial and non-financials measures
  • Prepare tracking for trade expenses & other on going programs to ensure alignment between budget against actual incurred and provide analytical support for ROI assessment
Projects and Process Improvements
  • Participate and support PR\'s Beyond Budget ambition and its related projects
  • Participate and support process improvement initiatives such as implementation of BI tools, process automation etc.
