• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business related studies.
• Preferred 3 or more years in an analytical role, ideally in Business Analytics, Finance, or Management Consulting with recent years gained in a dynamic retail environment
• Stakeholder management and team lead experience will enable success in the role
• Sensitive to timeline and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure during peak periods
• Meticulous with attention to details
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Undertake ad-hoc and special projects assigned by the Business.
• Traveling outstation may occasionally be required.
• Work Location: Jementah, Johor ; Klang, Selangor.

Tanggungjawab

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Merchandising Department with timely and accurate sales and financial information to facilitate speedy decision making in the ever-changing operating environment.

• Business partnering with the Merchandising Managers & their respective team to ensure relevant information is captured and reflected in plan/forecast.
• Responsible for providing commercial insights which highlights key business trends to support decisions on growth, investments, sourcing, and cost optimization.
• Own the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks for the category/brands\' P&L and challenging underlying assumptions to ensure the numbers aligned with category/company strategies.
• Contribute and lead business forward looking analytics, planning, decision-making and implementation to facilitate sound business decisions and the achievement of functional and corporate objectives.
• Enhance quality insights through review and validation of data, and implementation of appropriate controls and checkpoints
• Produce insightful reports, data visualization regularly and making relevant recommendations to senior management, managers and investors in empowering key business decisions.
