• Manage the Variation and EOT process and delay cost claims, including workshop any proposed changes and review the effects on the Construction Program, advise the Contractor of any proposed changes, receive and respond to any claims and delay notices from the Contractor, approve and / or reject any submissions as may be required, ensure the internal project EOT register is maintained and updated as required with any extensions of time
• Assist with compilation of internal progress reporting
• Review and advise on Contractor\'s monthly progress reports
• Manage the internal cost report process with assistance / input from the cost consultant
• Assist with any cash flow exercises required
• Assist the direct procurement process
• Review and advise on any legal documents issued during the course of the project
• Manage the Conditions precedent to payment
• Asist with managing the completion process (forms and documents)
• Assist with progress claim and production of payment Schedule
• Oversee the project teams actions / work complies with the Contract and Client\'s processes commercially
• Assist in the procurement of other trades / contractors as required
• Assist with developing the Capital Works processes and procedures for project delivery
• Support in all commercial matters notably the Project Director, Capital Works Director and Engineering Manager

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
• Good technical grounding in all of the main areas of cost management
• Experience of acting as Commission Manager on small to medium sized projects, or at least sufficient related experience to enable a step up to performing the role of Commission Manager
• Good knowledge of the main procurement methods and their application with respect to the \'tactical procurement\' of small to medium sized buildings
• Experience in Data Center, High Tech Manufacturing, High Rise projects
• Knowledge and understanding of value engineering
• Experience of utilising a range of industry standard processes and systems (IT and other) in order to effectively deliver a project.
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
