In line with the continued growth and expansion of our business throughout Asia Pacific, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Pricing Specialist, APAC to join our team. This person will play a key role in working in the contracted accounts business for the APAC Advisory and Transactions business, support the Sales & Solutions team on building commercial pricing models for new sales pursuits and account renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning and producing resource and cost models under the leadership of the Sales & Solutions Lead
  • Accurately modelling the costs for resourcing and services based on the solution developed by the Sales & Solutions team
  • Briefing senior management on the commercial model, costs and profitability of the proposal
  • Refining and adapting models based on feedback provided
  • Proactively suggest improvements, refinements and solutions for the commercial model
  • Liaising with regional teams to obtain approved resource levels and cost
  • Working within a regional team, building relationships with key stakeholders and enlisting assistance and support from the Lead
  • Applying benchmarking standards and analysis into effective resourcing
  • Driving standardisation of approach, modelling tools, and methods
  • Develop and proliferate pricing best practices, tools, templates, reference materials and database
  • Verify through analysis commercial modelling after accounts are won and stabilized to ensure future modelling is accurate
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Minimum 5years of experience in relevant field
  • Flexible, client-focused attitude
  • Experience of working in a complex and fast-moving environment that requires interaction and collaboration with other teams across multiple product/business lines and international locations
  • Interest in and ability to analyse data, and present in meaningful way to internal customers
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and spreadsheet functionality is required. Must be able to manipulate data effectively and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English and commercial skills
  • Capable organiser able to meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Able to look beyond the data so as to summarise and present to different levels of management in a constructive way
  • Able to communicate risks and opportunities
  • Ability to build relationships across the business
  • Will require some flexibility in working hours to support the Global Business
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics (or equivalent degree)/CA/CIMA qualified
