Cooking Assistance:

Kitchen Support:
Assisting other chefs, restocking, and helping with deliveries.
Stock Management:
Rotating stock, checking dates, monitoring levels, and disposing of expired items.
Hygiene & Cleaning:
Maintaining cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and adhering to food safety standards.
Learning:
Developing skills across different kitchen sections (e.g., fish, pastry).
Essential Skills:
Stamina and ability to work long hours standing.
Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.
Versatility and adaptability.
Passion for food and a strong work ethic.
Role in the Kitchen:
A stepping stone for novice chefs, often reporting to a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Tasks can vary, rotating between stations as needed.
