Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients, under the guidance of kitchen staff.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food and waste.
Support inventory management by assisting with the receiving, storing, and rotation of stock.
Assist during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as directed by supervisors or chefs.
Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly, in accordance with environmental guidelines.
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Perform any other duties assigned by kitchen management to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
