\xe2\x80\xa2 You are expected to assist the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s chef(s) in but not limited to preparing and cooking a range of dishes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that buffets and a-la-carte orders, service and presentation are delivered to meet Guests\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s set standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Notifying superiors of necessary repairs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Control food stock and food cost. \xe2\x80\xa2 Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure that the Kitchen is run and maintained hygienically, efficiently and safely. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow all instructions from the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s chef(s) and/or Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 You may also be assigned other administrative and/or operational duties from time to time by the Management.
