, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Mediterranean dishes, ensuring high culinary standards are maintained in line with Sofitel's brand excellence. You will work closely with senior chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect creativity, freshness, and refinement.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and mise-en-place of Mediterranean-inspired dishes (e.g. grilled meats, seafood, mezze, pasta, salads, and sauces). Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards in accordance with Sofitel's brand guidelines. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are consistently upheld in all kitchen areas. Support senior chefs in daily operations, including receiving and storing ingredients, and portion control. Handle kitchen equipment safely and maintain proper care of tools and utensils. Adhere to standard recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards to ensure consistency. Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings when required. Maintain positive working relationships with all kitchen and service team members to ensure smooth operation. Follow all hotel and Accor policies, including health, safety, and sustainability practices.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant, preferably within Mediterranean or Western cuisine. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and hygiene standards. Passion for food, creativity, and continuous learning. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a strong team spirit. Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification preferred.
