Job Description
1. To identify, conceptualize and develop a dynamic publishing program for the STPM and Higher Education 2. To commission business related titles of value which meet required market needs and achieves the desired financial outcomes 3. To lead and motivate authors, editorial and production team to publish to the required levels of quality, cost and time 4. To nurture existing academic contacts and expand further the bank of quality and committed authors 5. Negotiating agreements and contracts with authors 6. Planning, organising and monitoring the progress of projects 7. Undertaking market research/investigating market trends 8. Reading, evaluating and commissioning titles 9. Liaising with authors, sales and marketing; and production staff 10. Writing reports
