The Impact You\'ll MakeWe are seeking a talented and proactive Communications Specialist (12-months Contract) to join our dynamic team in Malaysia.The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for editing and publishing communications to employees via multiple channels. This role requires collaboration capability cross-functionally with other local and global partners and may occasionally extend support in external communications activities.Key Responsibilities

• Develop content and manage internal comms for employee events and community activities via multiple channels including email, intranet, digital signage and printed materials.
• Drive quality in communications by ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
• Serve as brand advocate, maintaining and enhancing the company\'s reputation through compelling communications and brand assets.
• Create an engaging content in a mix of written, visual and video formats.
• Cultivate understanding of the different audiences to craft communications that resonate.
• Monitor feedback and collect metrics to enable the team to improve effectiveness of communication strategies.
• Partner with organizations to facilitate community service programs for Lam Research employees.

Who We\'re Looking ForThe ideal candidate...

• 2-3 years of experience in a communications role and similar function at a global company and manufacturing environment.
• Has experience working in the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment (B2B), or the electronics industry is an advantage.
• Skilled in developing written and visual content.
• Has experience with creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, video and etc.).
• Highly fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Skilled in MS Office: PPT, Word, Excel, MS Teams.
• Proactive team player with strong accountability, initiative and communication skills.
• Action-oriented and positive person who can put new ideas into action.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations or equivalent academic qualification.
• Experience in writing for newsletters, media, new media, or internal publications.
