Job Description

Assist in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant regulations.Maintain and update statutory registers and records, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.Prepare and file statutory documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) in a timely manner.Assist in organizing and coordinating board meetings, including preparing agendas, circulating board papers, and drafting minutes of meetings.Provide administrative support to the Company Secretary in corporate secretarial matters.Assist in the preparation and filing of annual returns.Handle correspondence and communication with shareholders, directors, and regulatory authorities.Monitor changes in company law and regulations and advise the Company Secretary on their implications.Assist in ensuring proper corporate governance practices within the company.Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Company Secretary

Qualifications

Knowledge of corporate governance, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance; Strong organizational and administrative skills; Ability to work independently and in a team; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Experience in managing company secretarial matters; Legal background or qualification is a plus; Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
