Job Description


We are currently looking for Compensation & Benefits Analyst to be part new People Services Team. This role will be reporting directly to the Compensation & Benefits Service Centre Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Compensation & Benefits Manager on Compensation & Benefits related activities below for the countries and largely internally facing within HR.

Responsibilities:

Recognition Process

  • Supporting the annual review of the recognition range for their countries, including managing local engagement via the Country Duty Holder (CDH)
Job Evaluation & Job Catalogue
  • Carry out job evaluations working with the C&B Managers which includes ensuring governance and equity of job evaluations by business and country
  • Participation in the annual job catalogue refresh process, supporting to align the outcomes of the review with roles in-Region (in partnership with the Regional Process Lead and Global Benchmarking Team)
  • Participating in data verification processes specifically relating to the misalignment of job profiles
Performance & Reward Process (includes but not limited to the following)
  • APR Budget Setting
  • Coordinate APR budget proposals on behalf of the C&B Manager based on the global principles and supporting data e.g. Finance plan, projected country wage inflation, competitiveness data, turnover etc
  • Performance
  • Coordination of Performance configuration for all countries within remit
  • APR Process
  • Ensure correct merit plan assignment
  • Guide \'in flight\' merit transactions and oversee completion
  • Support managers with questions around making salary decisions and \'data behavior\xe2\x80\x99
  • Bonus
  • Manage bonus for the aligned group of countries including
  • Validation checks on bonus plans and business alignment
  • Perform validation checks on the bonus calculations coming out of Workday
  • Other
  • Responding to queries on the P&R process escalated via the Tier 1 Service Centre Teams
  • Supporting with global communications and education e.g. with translations (as required), additional education requirements, preparation of the country \xe2\x80\x9cone pagers\xe2\x80\x9d detailing country specific policies / processes which may impact the global P&R process
Equity Reviews
  • Conduct Analysis using standard tools and processes working closely with the C&B Manager who will work with the Line Leader / HR Business Leaders on the outcomes
  • Records retention of documents related to equity reviews
Salary Management
  • Supports leaders with salary decision guidance either based on specific requests via ServiceNOW or as per Workday escalations e.g. as part of the Request Comp Change, Job Change and Ready Recruit processes.
  • Monitors competitiveness within aligned countries
  • Accountable for records retention process of compensation related documents
Market Data
  • Carries out job mapping/matching for benchmarking as per the guidance provided by the Global Benchmarking Team
  • Supports the Global Benchmarking Team to investigate data issues, matching errors or data gaps
  • Validates job family ranges for countries within remit, supported by the Country HR Teams (if applicable)
Benefits Benchmarking
  • Supports the Benefits Managers with obtaining data / clarifying information required for the Benefits survey submissions.
  • Helps to investigate data issues, matching errors or data gaps
  • Helps identify trends / useful insights from the Benefits benchmarking data provided by the Global Benchmarking Team
  • Analyses take-up data on existing Benefits to feed into discussions around whether changes need to be made to make our packages more competitive and / or attractive to employees
Benefits Vendor Management
  • Provides support to the Benefits Managers as they negotiate with new / existing Benefits vendors, this may include performing data analysis, preparing presentations, obtaining customer experience data
  • Supports the Benefits Managers with the management of the vendor platform (as applicable) \xe2\x80\x93 includes pulling reports to monitor the performance of the platform, validating the quality of the data on the platform, following up with employee queries based on data provided through the platform or Service NOW
Governance
  • Is aware of and can provide guidance around how Benefits should be governed as per the Reward Governance Framework
Total Employment Cost Analysis
  • Consolidates submissions and multipliers for the countries within remit passing these to the Regional Process Manager for final validation and coordination
  • Supporting with the collection of the Benefits elements of the TEC analysis to refresh the multipliers on an annual basis.
Capability Building
  • Helps develop education / capability building materials for use within the countries / Region
  • Supports with the coordination of Benefits education / capability building sessions
Governance & Risk Management
  • All the above is underpinned by the Reward Governance Framework (RGF)
  • The Benefits Specialist must be familiar with, always educate on and apply the RGF
  • Contribution to the local risk management process

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Reward role (ideally gained in a large Corporation or a specialist consulting organization)
  • Experience of managing global processes and / or projects using ADP / equivalent PM tools, evidence of delivery to deadlines/ effective management of multiple activities with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience coordinating efforts across multiple countries with direct exposure to specific regional requirements affecting project deliverables
  • Professional proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
