Job Description

Job responsibilities:

Conduct both scheduled and surprise audits across various outlets, ensuring audit steps/ checks are properly carried out as per the audit checklist; Periodically evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls of operations Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented; Prepare and discuss the audit findings with the auditee during and after the audit; Recommend actions to minimize exposures arising from control weaknesses or other deficiencies; Performs follow-up assignments to monitor the progress and development of the operations after the completion of each assignment; Undertakes ad-hoc assignments/ tasks as needed; and Ensures compliance with Company policies and professional standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Degree in business, accounting, and finance with experience in retail, the food, and beverage industry, or risk-based auditing attained through 1 to 3 years of progressive work experience; Flexible, proactive, and able to travel on short notice and up to 50% of the work time annually; and Applicants with a compliance and operational auditing background within the food service or retail sectors are highly preferred.
