Due to organisational growth and further expansion, a role has been created for a Compliance & Legal Manager. Your new role As a key member of the team, you\'ll be trusted with [responsibilities]. You\'ll be required to support the team with compliance & legal task. You\'ll also have the opportunity to mentor and provide guidance to other members of the team: To prepare report for management on incidents, investigations and all compliance issues, including but not limited to actual, proposed, or pending legislation and regulations that impacts the business and identifying obstacles to compliance, and working with others in related departments to identify and implement solutions. To leverage familiarity and understanding with Halal certification program, trade agreement, ESG, COA, BRC, HACCP, SQF, EMP and GMP, etc. and represent the company externally in Trade Associations committees and at industry conferences and events, as and when needed. To contribute to the accuracy and completeness of the regulatory document library by ensuring that pertinent corporate standards and functional regulatory procedures are documented, thereby facilitating knowledge transfer, capability and capacity enhancements. To support the Compliance Program through the creation of effective training, communication, and the delivery of content to various audiences. To communicate with regulatory agencies regarding pre-submission strategies, potential regulatory pathway\'s compliance requirements, or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review. What you\'ll need to succeed Bachelor Degree in related field. A minimum of Five (5) years supervisory, or leadership experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry in regulatory compliance, or in a regulatory compliance capacity. Possess experience in Halal, sustainability and ESG will be an added advantage. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and project management skills including root cause analysis, risk assessment and corrective/preventive action. People leadership and ability to influence cross functionally are critical.
