Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionCompliance Manager position at Roche Pharma Malaysia plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience, establishing themselves as a trusted partner, and ultimately contributing to the positive impact on patient lives.Take a key role in promoting the high standards of integrity, and ensuring compliance in line with global guidelines as well as local laws and regulations through adequate procedures and process controls.Support the local Compliance Officer in fostering a climate and culture of compliance through trainings, monitoring and proactively addressing compliance issues.Operate as an independent function to give assurance to senior management that business activities are executed within an adequate control framework and under consideration of the associated risks.Ensure adequate procedures to timely identify gaps within local policies, processes, procedures and systems and drive initiatives to close these gaps.As a qualified Roche Compliance Manager, you will:Compliance ManagementClosely monitor trends and changes of all relevant global, regional and local legal, industry and regulatory requirements and standards.Take ownership of internal policies, procedures, SOPs and compliance database to ensure compliance with the applicable laws, standards and regulations, and adequate controls are in place.Maintain compliance touchpoint(s) with the latest information and documentation.Ensure adequate Risk and Opportunity (R&O) identification, assessment, and management.Act as key contact for all compliance systems and processes, and lead for projects to further improve compliance processes and process efficiencyCompliance Awareness and TrainingImplement and maintain training programs, compliance initiatives and monitoring programs covering people, processes and platforms, and provide regular updates to the Management.Closely collaborate with the business functions to drive the business within a framework of high compliance standards.Provide guidance and advisory on compliance matters to the organisation.Monitoring and InvestigationsLead local investigations and ensure adequate handling and documentation of non-compliance.Support the People & Culture team to manage issues related to business ethics, conflict of interest, integrity and the like.Perform ad-hoc audits where deemed necessary during the year and continuously monitor the effectiveness of internal controls.Support and coordinate group audit.Ensure corrective action plans resulting from audit or monitoring are established, followed up, monitored and tracked with effective and efficient processes and tools, to mitigate future risks and ensure adequacy for timely implementation.Who You AreQualification and ExperienceBachelor Degree with at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, legal, quality, risk management or related function.Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory.SkillsKnowledge of Regulations \xe2\x80\x94 Strong understanding of applicable regulations, laws and compliance requirements.Teamwork and collaboration \xe2\x80\x94- Builds bridges across geographical, cultural and functional boundaries to enhance collaboration.Communication \xe2\x80\x94 Strong communication skills, capable of clearly articulating and bringing clarity to even the most complex concepts.Business Acumen \xe2\x80\x94 Understand the business goals and operations to develop compliance strategies that contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.Market Awareness \xe2\x80\x94 Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes to adapt compliance strategies proactively.Pragmatism \xe2\x80\x94 Approach compliance topics with a practical and realistic mindset.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
