Job Responsibilities : 1. Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practical; consultation with students, invigilation, marking and assessment. 2. Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the University\'s. 3. Participate in scholarly activities, including undertaking research, conference presentation, dissemination of research results, journal publications, and relevant community work 4. Undertake and contribute a high level of administrative responsibilities such as taking on departmental roles of management functions including attending meetings, participate in committees and working groups within the Department, School, Faculty and University. 5. Engage in continuous professional development including participation and facilitation in relevant professional activities. 6. Any other duties that may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of Department. Job Requirements : 1. At least Master Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Cyber Security/Information Technology or equivalent. 2. Fresh graduate with Master qualification is considered. 3. Industry experience will be an added advantage. 4. Willing & ability to teach subject in Computer Science fields such as programming, cyber security, data analyst, software, hardware and others. Universiti Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) started as a Vocational Centre in 2000, carving a niche in Land Surveying. Noting a growing demand for such a specialisation, Geomatika submitted an application for college status and obtained the approval from the Ministry of Education. Due to overwhelming demand, Geomatika established its Department of Geospatial and Land Development and launched the Centre of GIS (CeGIS) Short Courses Program in Geospatial Technology as well as Certificate in Land Assistantship Surveying. As part of Malaysian tertiary education ecosystem, UGM has aligned its strategies with The National Transformational Program (NTP) under the NKEA, in tangent with the nation\xe2\x80\x99s plan to be a developed nation by 2020.
