The Confinement Center Helper & Cook supports the daily kitchen operations to ensure nutritious and timely meals are prepared and delivered to mothers and babies. This role involves assisting in food preparation, cooking when required, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the kitchen team with daily food preparation tasks (washing, cutting, portioning ingredients, etc.).
Take turns to cook meals according to the center's menu and standards when scheduled.
Assist in delivering meals and beverages to guests' rooms promptly and politely.
Support overall kitchen operations, including cleaning, maintaining hygiene, and organizing kitchen tools and equipment.
Ensure all food handling and preparation follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Work closely with the kitchen leader/chef to ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
