Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, or utilities.
• Proficient in construction scheduling and tracking using project management software like MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong subcontractor management and scope definition abilities, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred. Familiarity with Malaysian building regulations and construction environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall infrastructure construction plans, familiar with the full project lifecycle from preliminary preparation to final completion, ensuring key milestones are met.
• Clearly define and manage project scope, effectively handling changes to ensure clear consensus among all parties on deliverables.
• Be responsible for the recruitment, contract management, and daily coordination of specialist subcontractors, monitoring their safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Oversee overall daily site management, chair coordination meetings, and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budget and control costs, identify risks, and optimize the utilization of resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Strictly enforce HSE regulations to maintain a zero-accident site; supervise construction quality to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
