Job Description

:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution. Lead and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure efficient and high-quality execution. Identify and manage project risks to guarantee successful completion and mitigate potential challenges. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders during the design phase to ensure project feasibility and alignment with objectives. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or scope changes professionally. Provide regular updates on project progress to the Project Manager for reporting purposes. Assure all work meets required specifications, industry standards, and quality control measures. Regularly inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to codes, regulations, and quality standards. Promptly address any issues or deficiencies in construction work to maintain project quality and timelines. Assure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations throughout the construction process Track project expenditures and ensure the project stays within budget constraints. Oversee material inventory management, ensuring timely procurement to meet project needs. Effectively allocate resources such as materials, labor, equipment, and machinery to optimize project performance. Identify opportunities for cost-saving and inform the project manager to negotiate favourable contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in the construction industry. This position to be based in Miri, Sarawak
Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

Hold weekly meetings to update project status, address concerns, and communicate progress with the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM13,530.82 per month
