Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:



Construction Management:



Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, Preparation of Budget, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications. Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and manage project risks. Ensure compliance with clients and governing bodies permits, and safety regulations. Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:



lead a high-performing construction and operations team. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. Delegate responsibilities and tasks effectively to ensure project and operational goals are met.

Operational Management:



Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to optimize project performance. Manage operational budgets and control costs. Implement and improve operational processes and procedures.

Stakeholder Communication:



Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and government agencies. Provide regular updates and reports on construction progress and operational performance. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure Client Satisfaction.

Quality Assurance:



Maintain high-quality standards for construction and operations. Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify and rectify deficiencies. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction and operational efficiency. Liaise closely with the QAQC Managers, QC Coordinator , QC Inspectors and Finance Department to gauge the health of all Projects.

Compliance and Safety:



Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Promote and enforce safety protocols and best practices in construction and operations. Investigate and liaise with Safety Manager to address safety incidents and issues promptly.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Extensive experience in construction and operations management. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and scheduling. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in construction and facility management software. Certification in construction management or a related field may be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
