The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and oversee the entire construction process from start to completion, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, site teams, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
Review project plans, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Identify and resolve construction issues or delays proactively through coordination with relevant parties.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost control, and procurement activities.
Lead site meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications to keep all parties aligned.
Ensure proper documentation of daily site activities, change orders, and progress reports.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and site regulations to minimize risk and ensure worker safety.
Mentor and guide site supervisors, engineers, and junior staff to maintain performance and discipline.
