Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Project Management:
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to the plan, on schedule, and within budget.
Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, site engineers, and labourers, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
Lead daily site meetings to communicate project goals, timelines, and responsibilities to the on-site team.
Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on-site, ensuring that work continues smoothly and without delays.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among all site personnel.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all site activities comply with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and local regulations.
Conduct safety briefings and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.
Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
Resource Management and Logistics:
Manage the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to the construction site, ensuring availability when needed.
Monitor and control site expenses, ensuring that the project remains within the allocated budget.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid project delays.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress against the schedule, identifying any potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site, providing regular updates on project status.
Address any client concerns or requests promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that client expectations are met
