Salary : RM6,000 - RM10,000 per month
Location: Project sites in Johor Bahru
Working day & hour: Site hours vary, 8 -10hour days start time varies - Opportunity for weekend works on day off in lieu basis.
Contract duration: Maximum 18 months contract under PERSOLKELLY

Supports, overseas, and facilitates project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.

Duties include:

• Locally manages projects from inception to completion; supports the project manager to ensure a safe and on time project delivery of the awarded scope and objectives of each project; works with vendors and Company internal staff to facilitate the works required for the execution of all site works and testing for the execution of the awarded scope.
• Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
• Monitors and communicates project status to project manager and wider team.
• Provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
• Works to identify and prevent project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
• Documents and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project.
• Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.
• Identifies and requests appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• Strong site construction background required with an equivalent level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience.

• Safety mindset - Ensures all parties on site are safe and work to the Cummins safety standards and expectations, is responsible to report any safety concerns and has the ultimate power to stop any works deemed unsafe immediately.

• Manages conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.
• Plans and aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
• Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events.
• Supports Project Management - Reviews and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").
• Schedule Management - Updates and reviews the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.
• Scope Management - Reviews a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully.
• Adapts to target audience - Explains complex topics (significant technical data, subject matter expertise, etc.) in such a way that the target audience (e.g. sales professionals, customers, training vendors, etc.) can understand, retain, and use the information
