What you will do

• Deliver pre-sales discovery sessions and post-sales detailed design workshops as part of providing customers with business-driven solutions
• Shape and inspire customer architectural design decisions and roadmaps
• Play a technical governance role in project delivery
• Collaborate with the Support and Engineering teams to ensure customer success and effectively manage technical risk
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of repeatable methods, frameworks, and tools to bring greater efficiency and effectiveness to Red Hat Services
• Provide leadership and guidance to less senior Red Hat consultants and a presales solutions architects, enabling them to be more effective and capable at large-scale design and architecture activities
• Guide the adoption of Red Hat\xe2\x80\x99s cloud solutions and services
• Demonstrate creative thinking through the development of informative whitepapers, blog posts, industry events, and webinars

• Experience designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technological field
• 15+ years of experience serving in a solutions architect, enterprise architect, or a consultant role related to the delivery of cloud solutions
• 5+ years of experience focused on cloud solutions like OpenShift or Kubernetes, cloud-native applications development, and agile methodology
• Background in customer engagement with either a major consulting services organization, or within a services division of a major software company
• Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
• Broad and deep experience across technologies including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Virtualization, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Puppet, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
• Working knowledge of cloud architectures, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and their supporting infrastructures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior business and technology leaders
• Proven ability to work seamlessly with teams spread out across multiple departments and regions
• Balance of strategic and tactical skills with a capacity for innovative thinking
• Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
• Willingness to travel, following Red Hat\xe2\x80\x99s COVID-19 guidelines
