Val Media is a Malaysian-based media company with an audience spanning across Southeast Asia. We are the company behind ProductNation, a media brand renowned for its innovative approach to video content creation, especially in the consumer tech sector.We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Content Creator to join our team. This role will serve as an additional face to our highly acclaimed tech videos, published on major platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. You will report directly to our Creative Director, a well-known figure in content creation.Responsibilities:

• Research and pitch fresh, relevant content ideas for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Host videos on-screen, based on provided scripts/ideas.
• Host livestreams.
• Measure content performance and provide feedback to improve future content.
• Test and document features of products/services provided by brands for inclusion in content.
• Assist video production and social media teams.

Requirements:

• Strong command of English. Ability to host in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to plan content, fact-check claims, and write scripts.
• Prior experience in hosting onscreen is a plus.
• Basic knowledge and interest in consumer technology (e.g., smartphones, gadgets, computing).
• Basic knowledge of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio setups for shoots.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong on-camera presence.
• Interest in what makes content shareable and engaging online.
• Understanding of video pre-production processes, including content ideation, scripting, and content planning.
