We are looking for a Content Specialist (Korean) to join our Content Editor team in Malaysia. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Intellectual Property, Life Science & Healthcare and Academia publication. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Excellent read and written Korean and excellent read, spoken and written English. Degree and/or background (masters/advanced degree preferred) in: Engineering or other Technical degree required or Life sciences including pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical medicine, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in quality control is preferable. It would be great if you also had . . . A customer-driven approach and good commercial awareness. Effective time management end organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines and targets. A team player with the ability to work under own initiative, driving concept to conclusion. Excellent interpersonal skills What will you be doing in this role Analyze quality checks from weekly publications of Korean patents to drive weekly selection and allocation of translated patent records for editorial enhancement. Review editorial suggestions applied to local translation dictionaries, approve valid suggestions and oversee updates to master dictionaries. Review and approve suggestions and manage updates to the translation memory. Manage customer cases assigned by the Customer Service Desk and operational requests for translation enhancement, allocate retranslation/enhancement requests and manage any associated updates to the master dictionaries and translation memory. Provide data analysis and reporting from periodic quality benchmarking reviews. Provide analysis and feedback of quality assurance data to external vendors to drive continuous content improvement. Provide analysis and suggestions for process and content improvements as part of daily role or through participation in project teams. Provide quality assurance checks for the translation of assignee, inventor, agent names translations and address data. Support Korean patent assignee (PACO) team in reviewing and researching the correct translation of company entities to ensure a joined-up approach to the translation and identification of companies. Hours of Work This is a full time position with normal working hours.
