ALBS is an Air Liquide entity in Kuala Lumpur, regrouping for the APAC scope its Business Service Centers (Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai) as well as the two Global Functions (IT, Digital and Procurement). We are looking for a dynamic leader who will be in charge of Continuous Improvement and Performance for all the Departments of AGS. The candidate should have a strong continuous improvement mindset and a strong culture of Performance as he/she will have to make this continuous Improvement mindset part of the DNA of the organization. He/SHe will have to promote this culture and push for it across the organization making the team sensitive to the interest of Continuous Improvement and how it can contribute to help them in improving their day to day work and help them to deliver the quality of service and the efficiency ambition that their organization has.

In this respect, he/She will have to identify and promote any Continuous improvement initiative. He/She will rely on a network of CIMP leaders that he/she will have to animate and drive to deliver the overall ambition that we have. Replication and cross fertilization are key on the agenda

He/She will also monitor the performance delivered by AGS and support the management team in addressing the challenges that today prevent them to do more in this area.

He/She will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation

Based in Kuala Lumpur with direct reporting line to Vice President APAC Global Services

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Continuous Improvement and Performance Manager key responsibilities are
  • Create, promote and influence at all levels in organization a culture and mindset of continuous improvement embedded into our day to day of working.
  • Handle in-house training on C-IMP Tools and methodologies to C-IMP champions and end users at all levels in the organization in line with group guide and local needs, ensure training materials are kept up-to-date and effective and track training records.
  • Coach, Mentor, Guide nominated C-IMP leaders from each functions through regular connect
  • Conduct regular surveys to get voice and feedback from employees on C-IMP initiatives to drive improvement on the program.
  • Work closely with each function leadership team and C-IMP champions to understand their pain points, define road map for Continuous Improvement Plan, regularly review and provide update on the progress
  • Conduct regular review of various strategic C-IMP initiatives across functions in AGS, coach and guide the team for successful execution and provide updates to management.
  • Take direct lead on selected strategic C-IMP projects assigned.
  • Run various C-IMP incentive programs, encourage participation, validate submission, coordinate selection of best projects and reward distribution.
  • Regular communication across AGS on C-IMP progress.
  • Conduct regular C-IMP Maturity assessment in line with group guide
  • Take lead on reporting requirements (AGS, HUB and Group) related to C-IMP.
  • Drive successful and effective implementation of DPM ( Daily Performance Management) across AGS organization.
  • Review critical business processes for enhancing effectiveness and benchmark with Industry Best Practice

Are you a MATCH?

  • A bachelor\'s degree in business administration, process management, or operations
  • Five years\' + experience in process optimization, operations, or business management.
  • Good understanding and hand on experience on Continuous improvement methodology and Tool including Lean / Six Sigma , black belt certification is an advantage
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Confidence in your abilities to lead organizational change.
