Responsible for managing and administering all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. The role ensures that all project costs are accurately estimated, controlled, and monitored from the tendering stage through to project completion, in compliance with company policies and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage contract documents, tender submissions, and related correspondence.
Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and feasibility studies for projects.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients and projects.
Evaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Monitor project expenditure and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on contract and payment matters.
Ensure all contractual terms and conditions are properly implemented and followed.
Maintain and organize all project documentation and correspondence.
Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims when necessary.
Prepare monthly project reports and cost summaries for management review.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
At least 1-3 years of working experience in contract administration or quantity surveying.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. PAM, JKR, FIDIC) and cost management.
Skilled in preparing detailed and precise quotations for various construction projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS software (e.g. CostX, Buildsoft).
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
