SCOPE OF SERVICES/WORK SCOPE (SUMMARY):
1. Site installation work:

• To install High voltage, Network meters and Check meters at Substation and customer premises.
• To carry out maintenance work for HV meters and its system.
• Liaise with all pertinent departments within and external for any related operation works (e.g shutdown, access to site etc).
• To witness testing of CT/VT and its system.
• To investigate reports of faulty/damaged equipment and perform the necessary technical troubleshooting.
• Download metering data & perform analysis, trend tracking and reporting to management.
• To handle and resolve customer enquiries in a professional manner.

2. Office Work:

• To analyse meter data and update the findings.
• To upkeep photos, checklist & report in proper manner either in hardcopy files of in dedicated system.
• To prepare tools and materials required for site work.
• To keep all documentation with respective confidentiality.

3. Procurement and Inventory:

• To procure materials and/or services that are needed for deployment of smart meter.
• To monitor and handle smart meter related stocks and asset management.

4. To execute any tasks assigned by line supervisor and superior from time to time in supporting the daily operation and to achieve the departmental, company or corporate targets.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Wiremen Grade 1 or Grade 2.
• Chargeman L1 would be an advantage.
• Working experience in metering project would be an advantage.
• Technical knowledge of Energy Meter
• Test & evaluate relevant/new metering & communication technologies.
• Able to prepare technical & functional specifications.
• Working knowledge of different types of energy meters.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Knowledge and competence in required technical aspects.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point).
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team, proactive and self-confident, self-motivated, positive attitude, flexible and responsive to any changes.
