Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

oOversee upstream contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms and obligations.

oReview, draft, and manage contractual correspondences, reports, and submissions to government ministries, regulators, and clients.

oMonitor and interpret contract requirements, policies, and directives from Client, consultants, and other authorities.

oMitigate contractual risks by ensuring accurate documentation, record-keeping, and escalation of critical issues.

oLead the preparation, review, and submission of reports to relevant agencies.

oCoordinate with internal departments (legal, finance, operations, technical) to consolidate data for upstream reporting.

oMaintain structured records of correspondences, approvals, and submissions for audit and compliance purposes.

oAct as the primary liaison with Government, consultants and other upstream stakeholders on contractual and reporting matters.

oRepresent the company in meetings, negotiations, and discussions with regulators and clients.

oBuild and maintain positive relationships with government officials, regulatory representatives, and key clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

oBachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

oMinimum 12-15 years of experience in contract management, with at least 5 years at senior management level.

oRailway experience preferred

oStrong knowledge of government contract administration, reporting protocols, and compliance frameworks.

oExcellent drafting, writing, and correspondence skills in English and Malay.

oProven ability to handle high-level communication with ministries, regulators, and international clients.

oStrong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

oProvide guidance to the contract management team on regulatory reporting and contract interpretation.

oDevelop and implement processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in reporting.

oSupport management in strategic decision-making by analyzing contract risks, compliance gaps, and regulatory impacts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,969.62 - RM18,000.00 per month
